Do you think TAGGING is a real things? Can they make your site more visible? How do you compare it with others kind of backlinks? Do they make sense? How can we make it generate income? Any comment on www.tagacloud.com?
1/ I use Tag A Cloud for 3 of my sites. I really like the idea, i think it is very unique. 2/ It is probably free to encourage more people to use it and by the looks of the amount of tags being added, i would say it was working. 3/ Im not too sure if you actually receive backlinks from there, i think it is more of a cool way to advertise. 4/ Not too sure if it generates any income, if it does i don't know how. It is most probably going to be sold when it is really big.
Real: Yes. More visible: Yes, but only slightly. Compared with other backlinks: Not much different from a directory, although with a directory at least you know what category something is in. Make sense: Probably not much. It's cute, but you won't get a lot of traffic. Generate income: The same way you generate income with anything that sends you traffic -- offer a product, service, or information on your site that is of value to visitors. Verdict: Go ahead and add your site. It couldn't hurt. Just don't expect big results.
Tag a cloud sucks, its a link farm If you ever wondered what one was. Those sites have no value what so ever expect for the purpose of selling links to manipulate rankings. The links themselves have no value either because you usually share that page with 500 other links. Don´t waste your time.
So they maybe some point to ponders around. Anyway I do have a tag there. Maybe it can create a good way of backlink for me in the future.
Selling link to manipulate ranking? I saw many of these website has been doing this. Tag A Cloud didn't charge anything at all. But others yes.
