Tag Cloud - Good or Bad for SEO vote now

Are Tag Cloud good or bad for your website from SEO and Google point of view

Can they be added manually without the use of the tag cloud generators- in this case they will be still (they don't change when page is refreshed)?

Go to a professional/seo bloggers blog and see if they have a word cloud. That should be a good indication.

 

I think it helps in improving SERP of your targeted keywords when used in tag cloud.

Tag cloud is flash based and so it is neither good nor bad for seo, just a pretty display of words attractive to the human visitor. It cant be indexed or followed by the search engines.

 

Tag Cload are very important for some seo point.

I would disagree..... Tag clouds add great amount of links on your pages thus diluting your "juice" to more important pages..... Try to find one professional SEO site with tags on it.

 

Tag clouds do not add value to SE rankings. If you absolutely need one, I'd make sure that the tag pages have "noindex", "follow" meta attributes so that Google follow them but won't index it.

 

I think there good. I mean keywords..relevance..I'm sure Google finds it good.

 

tag pages are great for your raising your keywords in serps. tag clouds draw away PR (if you care) the pages on which they're displayed. use your tag cloud temporarily to spread PR among your tagged pages, while you're doing off-site seo on your tag pages. as soon as you can get the tag pages to rank, no-follow your tag cloud. your tag pages will be internally backlinked thru the posts that are tagged, and your tag-cloud won't draw away any PR from each of the pages on which its displayed.
