I bought a pretty good Android tablet with a keyboard dock a year ago to do work while traveling. So far it's just gathering dust. It can't even handle basic word processing or web surfing, lots of lag and incorrect keypresses when typing, all of the web browsers have problems with a lot of pages. Maybe a tablet with Windows works better but Android seems totally useless for even basic work.
Laptops have more features than tablets. I would suggest a laptop.A laptop is a portable personal computer
It really depends on what you want A tablet is good for travelling, it's newer, has a more modern look A laptop is good for downloading things, probably has more space.
I'd choose laptop for overall function, tablet for marketing, buisness etc. It's certanily easier to represent an item with a tablet, and it's generally better when trying to do quick interactions. But... you already have your phone for that. Bar the buisness part, of course. So, it's more of a matter of preference.
Depends on function. A laptop is more work oriented, shortcuts, sheer power etc. Tablet if you are after entertainement. While, I do make a prediction that tablets wil start generating more and more market. More and more apps, more and more people will jump towards the tablet technology. At the end, I think laptops will slowly deciline until barely being used.
I use laptop both on my office work and my house too. Because I need to work over 10+ hours per day using this one. So, I prefer Laptop mostly.
I am working as a freelancer on different market places. I normally do web design and article writing task. For me task Laptop is better option than Tablet. But you have mentioned that you just want for email, skype, so I think Tablet will be better option for you.
I have tablet and laptop. I think laptop is better than tablet. It is better because on the laptop we have more functions. We can use laptop for internet, playing computers games, for job, for watching films and more other things. We can upgrade the laptop. Tablet is not have too many function. The tablet is limited with hardware and software.
both are different in usage. Biff stakes and fish stakes both are stakes but very much different in taste.
I prefer to use a laptop computer over a tablet. I have never owned a tablet. I have had desktops, laptops. Desktops are ideal for at home but, even for on the go, I would prefer having the capacity of a laptop computer with me wherever I am - as opposed to a tablet. I have limited experience in tablets, but I would find them to be more delicate, troublesome over a laptop. Plus, limitations in capabilities I could imagine between the two types of devices makes me lean more toward owning/purchasing a laptop over a tablet.
