the site is 199-concord-road.com sorry i know tables are frowned upon but this is joomla with a joomla extension that uses tables. if it can't be fixed with css then so be it, i don't have the expertise to rewrite joomla and this particular extension to do away with the tables. i've tried a number of adjustments but basically in ie, the table just flows out of the main column area. i'm not sure if this is something that is 'forgiven' by ff and ie is right or if its a ie quirk. if i use right margins to push back to the left in ie, it throws off the ff. having lots of trouble with the ff and ie differences. bob
i made an adjustment to narrow the width of the joomla/extension/plugin that displays the slide show from 700px to 600px which gets it in the ballpark, it controls a css class called 'besps_holder_0' but ff and ie are still different in presentation. the basic table still overflows the div. if it is possible to keep a table within a preceeding div, i would very much like to know how thats done.
