Hello Guys, I am trying to set up a PPC campaign for my website but not sure traffic estimator is showing the right amount of clicks I'll receive daily. Keywords have max CPC $9, I am setting daily budget $50 and max cpc between 3-9, it shows only 0.21 to 0.25 click daily..it's really bullshit...I am so frustrated... can you help me please how to check the accurate traffic estimate for keywords?
Google analytics never show accurate traffic as you are receiving via clicks on your ads. Also, there is a time difference between a "USER Click on Ad" and "Click collecting by Google Analytics" There is one more thing that I would like to share is, Google Analytics consider all clicks as a single click happens within the time frame of 5-8 minutes from a single IP Say, if 100 user from a single IP visiting your website at the same time then Google do consider it as a 1 Click. Most probable source of collecting the accurate or i must say near to accurate is only from server where you hosted your website. I know this information will not remove your frustration but this might help you in understanding the Google Analytics.
if your site is php capable and you have access to the server... I can send you a little script that will trap each and every Click by ip and referrer into a text file on the server and if you are small time.. it can email you the click... but that would be a bad idea if you are spending 300 a day.. you email would lock up.. LOL.. But it can even be set to alert you if you get more than say 10 clicks and hour so you can shut it down if anyone is messing with you... or warn you when you get 100 clicks for the day... course you can set the account to shut off instead... but normally google just shuts you down... and does not tell you when the budget for the day runs out... so this can alert you by email every day when budget shutdown occurs.. or just about any other darn thing you want it to do.... if you think it will be helpful PM me for my skye... hell why not its all free....I do it as a hobby.. also many offers here are fake...so if I ever...EVER ask you for money or credit card or anything else... immediately post here so that I am banned..
