    I have no interest in desktop search anyway... I know where I put stuff... I can find it myself.

    For that matter, I couldn't care less about tabbed browsing but some people seem to think they can't live without it -- hence this thread.

    I would assume (perhaps incorrectly) that there's an option to install the toolbar without desktop search... (????)

    Yea thing kills me about MS just like this they have new versions of product that comes out that ahs great features they wait untill it is delayd 12 months then issue a file to add the new feature to existing system... to bad most people that wante dthis already switched to netscape or firefox...
