    Hosting the World Cup in West Indies is like hosting it in the middle of nowhere..... it's absolutely cut-off from cricket frenzy/crazy regions like the Indian Sub Continent, England, SA or Australia... In fact, the infrastructure is not up to the mark in the Caribbean.
    Morever, it's only the home team that gets support ; the other matches lack crowd, enthusiasm, atmosphere, cheering... nope, nothing for the outsiders.

    In fact, I doubt if the Fifa World Cup this year's gonna be much successful like it has always been... :eek:

    Correct I was so bored with no crowd making voice, I can remember England vs Pakistan game in WC 2009 so heavy crowd just like Manu vs chelsea match was dazzling but at windies its like all naked people dancing with stupid dances and u'll see crowd to go mad too with them like from aus, india etc dancing with them would be fun there but not on tV :mad:

    Absolutely agree with that. Even though im a hardcore cricket fan and I watch every team's matches and not only india's, cause im a genuine cricket follower, but watching matches in W. Indies is so freakin boring. May be lack of intensity or ICC don't know how to make the game popular and bring more fun to it.

    I also make it a point to watch all cricket matches but this time... I have just not been able to turn on the TV! Perhaps... the odd hours of matches with respect to IST is also one of the factor! :(

    But to my opinion INDIA is the best team at this point of time.

    And... South Africa managed a comfortable win against New Zealand in the second match! :)

    Today will see one hell of a cracker match between two hot favorites of this tournament.... India face Australia and I would not like to miss the encounter... for anything! :)

    usually a home team will prevail, we all know this, but camaroon hasnt anyone to offer since last time and the dutch will not be denied in any event.

    Well Indian team is heading towards big defeat and once again Yuvraj's failure asking question to BCCI! Why can't they take hard step? Even They can give chance to youngsters such as Tiwary who had good IPL season with Mumbai Indians!
