System Value Information?

I have a folder called System Value Information in my computer that takes up a lot of space and also has many duplicate files, so is it safe to delete it?

I believe it has something to do with System Restores, but my computer is running perfectly fine right now, so what if I delete all System Value Information folders and then make a new system restore point? Would it be safe? Or is System Value Information concerned with something else?

    Thanks

to turn off the system restore do this:
right click on my computer ==> go to properties.
there, on the system restore tab, check the box that says, turn off system restore. once you turned of system restore on all the drives, i guess the folder will automatically get removed or cleaned.
don't delete anything manually, reboot if necessarry!
    cheers!:)

So you are sure it will erase all backups? But I have System Value Information stored on ALL my drives.
