System shuts down in the mid of work

    Hello Everyone!
    I have a system, of configuration DSD2GD3-13 2GB DDR3 1333 16C (PC3-10600) SO-DIMM of RAM, 320 GB HDD and Dual core processor.Actually ,My system shuts dowm while i am at work.Please get me out of the issues.

    Just check fan/temperature settings or system events log which makes system fail.

    Scan your computer with a good antivirus. Clear dust that is clogged inside your CPU compartment

    Thanks to all of you,actually i did check fans/temperature and whatever with in a computer but it does not work any more .I means it suddenly shuts down in mid of working period..

    Did you do any upgrades? It sounds like the PSU can't support the components anymore. If you've upgraded something the components are now using more power and the PSU can't handle it. If it's not the PSU it could be the MB.

    Disconnect your HDD, boot from a Linux CD, and leave your PC running all day, if it shuts down, then you know it's hardware (but not HDD) related.

    Clean it, reseat the RAM and all your cards, vacuum the PSU, take off the heatsink and wash the sticky dust off it.

    reset the bios once, i think processor over heating, check the thermal paste is dried under the processor fan
