    That is a stupid suggestion.

    You DONT have to reinstall your operating system every time it runs slow or has a virus.

    Visit our, easy to follow virus / malware removal guide

    Work through that then post your results here.

    Regards

    Don't reinstall OS whenever it gets slow.... Its not a correct decision to solve the problem, it is like doing a surgery in nose to get rid of flu. Install a good antivirus with latest updated status, if you don't want to buy one, get AVG Free Antivirus edition, and install it and scan your entire system and clean up your system without virus and then defragment the HD completely and then scan your computer for bad sectors and get them marked by OS using ScanDsk utility. I think after these your system would be faster.

    Try reinstalling Excel. Also try installing any available updates for Excel.

    Perhaps your system is attacked by the virus so you need to format your local diskc.

    It doesn't look like a virus attack may be some of the files of Excel got corrupted You should try Re instaling MS Office.

    the best solution is reinstall ur OS.if ur cmptr have invected by a virus there is no way to make ur cmptr back to normal...even if u already updeate antivirus and scan it..and dont ever use a software for repair that,like registrycleaner etc...it doest work ,ur pc could get worse

    1) remove ur start up software using this command

    start-->msconfig

    2) clear ur temporary file use ccleaner software or else (start-->%temp%)

    3) dont instal more software in c drive

    4) maybe ur os affected virus means reinstal ur os
