System Cleanup Tools?

    At the moment I'm running a huge, overdue cleanup of my computer and was wondering if anyone can recommend any good system tools that can be used to delete/detect/prevent spyware/malware/viruses etc...

    I suggest hijackthis as well. its a little bit more advanced to use for the simple users. but its great, removes anything you like, but becareful.
