System Builders - AMD/ATI or Intel/nVidia?

I'm sure there are a fair amount of PC builders around here, including myself. I was just curious (whether building for yourself or for a customer/family/friend), how often do you choose the AMD/ATI solution, and how often Intel/Nvidia? Do you only trust one brand for your cpu/gpu needs?

What do you think the benefits and drawbacks of each solution are?

Well I like to do Intel/ATI combination. Intel makes great CPU's, whereas ATI beats the living crap out of Nvidia cards!

I have AMD/Nvidia combination as long as I can remember and it works great for me, but I hope that I'll try Intel soon.

I choose between Intel/nVidia and AMD/ATI, depending on how much money people want to spend on it.

I usually go with Intel/Nvidia because you really just get more bang for your buck. I have some ancient Nvidia cards lying around that are still kickin'. ATI cards I will admit are a bit faster, but I usually go for reliability more than anything else. Can't tell you how many fried ATI cards I've had to replace over the years. They just don't last as long...
