Hello Everyone,
I am selling www.syschat.com Computer Forum. This has been my main project for a few weeks... It was once a much larger forum (1k+ users) about 8 months ago, but got hacked because of a bad phpBB release, and I had to restart from nothing. I restarted it about a month and a half ago and already have about 70 users and 700+ posts.

Domain
SysChat is a perfect name for a computer forum. It is not a generic "computerforum" type name. It is very short, 7 letters, .com, very brandable. It is also a good name because it is easy to pronounce and remember. The domain is only PR3, but I have been doing alot to build up link popularity, according to marketleap it has almost 5k backlinks.

Site
The forums is phpBB, but I have modified it alot for SEO and usability. It uses the MorpheusX theme and extreme styles mod. For usablity, I have installed a quick reply mod and last post on index mod. For SEO, I installed a mod_rewrite, made a sitemap that I submitted to google, made an RSS feed for the posts and changed alot of the phpBB code.

Traffic
The site currently gets a good amount of traffic, but I have been doing alot lately to promote it, so it should grow. Most traffic is from type-ins because I have been telling my friends and the users that come back. I also receive alot of traffic from signatures in competing forums that I have purchased, most are for at least 2 months, so they come with site. I am also already recieving traffic from Search Engines! Traffic Stats

Revenue
I hadnt put up ads until last night. I put up YPN ads and I already recieved a few clicks! I didnt even set them up right with the right targeting. There is great potential for revenue in this site!

Price
I dont have a BIN price in mind, but might make one depending on offers I recieve. I will consider all reasonable offers.

So let me get this straight, you are using free PHPBB, with a free skin and Mod. You have Mod_Rewrite which looks like a normal mod rewrite for PHPBB. 20 out of your 71 users are paid posters, a lot of the other posters are your friends Most of your traffic from search engines comes from queries like syschat, site:syschat, which is most likely self generated mostly self generated. You have almost no traffic from Yahoo.

Now if you look at where the referrel traffic is coming from I see a lot of traffic from forums where you are selling the syschat.

So where is the value?

in an old thread at DNForum you stated
"130+ members and 1500+ posts. I closed the forum because GoDaddy lost all my files" this was in August. You tried to get $800 for it then.

the bid was at $150 there.

I guess the Positive would be the PR3, and the domain name is ok. I think $150 is the more in the realm of value. Good luck this time with the sale
