Syntax Error on site

    When I go to aviatorcorner.com using IE 7, I get a syntax error as shown in the attached file (line: 5 char: 1 syntax error.). If using firefox with firebug enabled I get the following error in the DOCTYPE declaration:
    syntax error
    [Break on this error] <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.or...
    The declaration for the site is
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">
