    Hi all ..

I've been reading about rss syndication and I was wondering what kind of effect it has on the traffic wich for instance a blog receives. Because I can imagine that if users will just download the updated posts through a program like feeddemon that they will not need to go to the site anymore! This means that actually the traffic goes down. Meaning that feeds (rss etc) are harmfull if you would like alot of visitors ?

Good question... I wouldn't mind knowing the answer to this one myself.

The trick is to only include a snippet of your content in the RSS feed. That way readers have to click on the link to visit your site so that they can read the full thing.
