No... there's still an electricity. Only an awareness for global warming. Lights have been turned off across Australia's largest city, Sydney, in a hour-long event aimed at raising awareness of global warming. At 1930 (0930 GMT) the city's skyline dimmed and normally bright landmarks like the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge went dark. The so-called Earth Hour is supported by the New South Wales government, environmental groups and businesses. Sydney hopes the event will make a very big statement on climate change. so like the entire city then? what about street lights and other emergency type stuff? and what is global warming
Global warming is when the Earth warms up. We are also doing cooltheglobe.com in Australia and you turn your lights off on the first wednesday of the month.
Pick a hot day, turn off the air conditioning, scream "global warming!" and what will gullable people think? Why don't they have this day on a rainy day during the Sydney winter? I saw an interesting graph on CO2 concentration (so called greenhouse gas) over the last 450,000. An honest person would see that there is a cycle in the environment, a politician can see a small section of the graph as a great tool for achieving liberal sainthood.
It wasn't only Sydney either... I know lots of people in Adelaide who did it, including us. It was kinda fun and I believe a huge number of people took part.
This is scary man, this global warming stuff. I mean what if this crap really happens around the world. I saw the movie the day after tomorrow.. and you got to admit... The movie suppose to make you entertained but looks like this movie is some big warning... I just hope I die before all this crap happens.
