I did not post it to prove anything about the history of Islam. I posted it for a reference to what is happening today and to offer another perspective in this idea that there is no compulsion by violence in Islam. Sorry if that simple point escapes you.
Are reporters now considered to be historians too? Because I read this kind of thing everyday it seems in the papers.
