    is there anyway i can transfer over my invision power board forum stats? like members, posts, etc to invision free? if there is anyway, i am paying who ever does this via paypal!

    You can do IF -> IPB, not the other way around.

    Why would you? Just pick up a cheap license

    No, you can't "downgrade" lol.

    Look around in the BST section, someone might have a cheap license.

    Or get a good Offshore hosting LOL

    Even if you have offshore hosting IPB will send a DMCA notice then probably come after you just to make news that they DO go after people who don't use a license.

    Seriously, it's cheaper to get a license in BST than an attempt to "downgrade" would be (even though it's not possible).

    Then you should just move to another free forums system with importers like SMF. It's got it's own IPB -> SMF conversor.

    You can search around it anyone has a downgrade conversion tool. I don't think there will be because most people was to go from junk to good, you are trying to do the opposite.

    Yeah, it doesn't look that great and the value is +/- $20

    All you need to do is buy a cheap license and promote your site. You are giving up too easily.

    edit: If you don't know how to run a forum, you shouldn't have bought it. They're not easy.

    IPBfree runs on IF and just incorporates a skin to make it look like IPB 2.x.x . If you change the skin, your back to a normal IF forum.

    SigSports is an IF forum, nothing more, nothing less. They've got what looks like a custom skin with some custom forum markers. All this can be found under Styles, I believe. It's been a while since I've used IF.
