    Hi there,

i am currently working on a new site for almost 1 and half months and currently no.1 on msn on my desired keywords.

I am just thinking the feedback Of SE's on new site title and some changes from the original content, and target keywords will be going to change to a new. And consider this a new process for optimization. i am thinking this site will be going on new process. And i need some advice for the best way for this.

On some reason, some major changes will be implemented for this site. Switching the old current site to new one.

Can i transfer my ongoing optimization site http://mysite.com/ to new http://mysite-2.com/ww/.

These new sites have a different title unlike the old one?

The new site have some similar content from the old one but not that all?

About the redirection of my old one to my new one this can be a good option?

Can you help me and give some advice for this. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

If you are changing the url just do a 301 redirect from the old url to the new url and you will be fine.

When changing url it may help to keep the rest of the site the same to get more continuity with the search engines.

I have some question about this 301 redirect.

If i want to move all files to new domain (new host) , I do 301 redirect with .htaccess.

Does this old files from old domain must be on old domain(server) if I do this 301 redirect or it can be just .htaccess file on old server without old files?

You need to contact your registrar and point the domain at the name servers of your new host rather than the old host.

Forward the old domain to the new domain using url forwarding. Point the new domain at the nameservers of your new host. Cancel the account with the old host.
