Switching my site to a different Server

I have a GoDaddy shared server currently and I need to move a site with a database to a different server that has full Cpanel access. Is there anyone experienced in that that might be willing to help? Can someone post or PM me with a price possibly?? :)

Well, if its shared do a complete backup from cpanel and use that on new server, if its a dedicated one use SSH root access to transfer between servers

You can use the cPanel's backup and restore utility to transfer the files. Though, it isnt going to work for sites with size more than 2 GB's(possibly, they will timeout)

Do Gaddy host on cpanel ?

If not, then, download all your files including dirs and keep the same structure. Then use you database tool, usually phpadmin, to export your database, and re import the databse in your new cpanel account with same tool.

just ask your new host to do it for you, most of them offer this service for free and do Full cPanel access you mean root access ?
