Switching main Twitter names..

    Please educate me, Twitter support is no help...
    I have a main twitter user name, and a couple of other user names I've added under the main. How do I make one of the secondary names my main account?
    If I delete the main one, I assume they will all go away, but, can I then build back the name I want right away?
    Appreciate your help!!
