Switching hosting company

I am trying to switch the hosting of a .co.uk domain I have from one hosting company to the other. I have already changed the nameservers to those of the new host and added the domain with them. However, the domain still points towards the other hosting company..they now say I need to provide them with the IPSTAG of the new host. I thought IPSTAG was just for changing registrar...am I right or wrong here? Anyway, the old hosting company in question here has already taken money from my bank without my permission this week and seems to be very untrustworthy and rude and hence I am asking my fellow digital pointers for help here :)

Everything will work fine as long as you point domain to new nameservers. Then add domain from cPanel as Parked Domain.

AHA! The domain has not resolved yet. Wait for some time. A day, at the latest, if you are using MyDomain like me.

After changing the nameservers, you will need to wait up to 24 hours (in some cases, 48 hours) for the DNS to update itself to point to the new servers.
