    Hi guys
I am about switch a site from static to drupal and wanted to ask your opinion on something.
    lets call it www.xyz.com
I have been building my drupal site locally, but to avoid any problems for the visitors of xyz.com, I was thinking about using a second domain (zbx.com for example, that I am currently not using for anything) which I would make topont to my hosting account, then build the drupal site there and once all tested and working I would add all xyz.com content and park xyz.com ton top of zbx.com then later I would point zbx.com elsewhere.
The reason I am thinking of doing this is because xyz.com is important for me and because this is my first proper drupal build. I want to be absoluetly sure its all working before I convert xyz.com and its visitors to the drupal site (from the static site).
Does anyone see any problems with what I plan to do?

I also have another question, this one about redirects.
I later(almost immediately after actually..) plan to use permanent redirects from al the static site urls to the corresponding drupal build urls. (I am doing all the drupal seo urls etc.. too of course). It is my understanding I will need to do a specific re-direct for each of the 40 or so static pages that I curently have.Any thoughts?

    Thanks in advance.
    Sami
