Switching Domian Name Tips

    I am thinking of changing to a new url on one of my websites. Couple of reasons.

    1. Yahoo penalty two years now. (have no idea why)
    2. Current domain is 30 characters long.

    Site ranks well in Google.
    Should I point the old dns servers to the new domain.

    Any advice, tips or pointers on this matter would be greatly appreciated .

    yes, it could result to drop of your ranking then a gradual loss of traffic.
