I bought a new computer with windows vista a month ago, but now I am really fed up with vista and wanted to switch on to windows XP, but someone suggested me that I can get both the windows installed and then I can choose between two windows which ever I like.
I just wanted to know is it really safe to install two windows on my PC?
Will it not slow down my PC?

    Kindly suggest.

    Thanks in advance.

    It is normal..

    Had it before many times.

When turning on the computer .. You will see a black screen where you choose which OS you would like to use.

and I don't think it affects your PC, as each OS will be installed on separate drivers.

    Thx, LeVampire

I recommend XP, vista still not stable with some kernel level softwares like antviruses, firewalls.

I have two window's operating systems on my machine and it doesn't bother it at all. You just choose which one you want to use each time you start your computer.

yes you can use both of OS in a single machine without any problem..it doesn't effect your PC speed..see Vista recommended 512MB RAM and at a time only one window resting on it so it can not effect more.
