is it against the guidline to switch ad location? say for example the user is used to clicking Next all the time; but then i randomly put an ad there instead haha that has to be against the TOS
It's your choice where to place it as long as it's within the Google Adsense Terms & Conditions and Program Policies. Read both if you have not already, follow them closely and then you'll be sure not to violate them.
You could change it everyday if you want as long as you do not encourage clicks nor do you break the TOS and Program Policies.
im not talking about days - im saying like every 10 times they click next, then i put an ad there instead mind you if this was a photo gallery or something, they hardly look at what theyre clicking if they think the next button is always going to be in the same place
You'd best ask google directly about that. It's a grey area. I personally think it's not allowed because has a high chance of clicking on an ad they're not interested in, but google might not be bothered. I doubt it, though.
I have a feeling you are going to find a nasty letter saying you are banned if you do this one. You would not be asking them to click ads, but you would be artificially inflating your clicks by doing this which of course is specically against their TOS. You can ask Google and I recommend you do, but I am willing to bet you that the answer is going to be that you would break their TOS by doing this. In my mind it is simply a grey area way of cheating the advertisers and thus dishonest.
