Switched to wordpress and google search results dropped :(

    I just recently switched from regular html pages that looked pretty bad with white pages to wordpress. And after I switched my search ranking in google dropped. I was on the first page as number 8.. after switching to wordpress with the same exact content plus one page I dropped to number 15 on the second page.. is this normal? Hmmm Guess I shouldn't complain with such small content anyways eh..

    did you 301 redirect the old pages to their new locations ?

    It happened with me also when I switched one of my site from simple html files to wordpress. Actually my traffic had gone, not sure about the SERP.

    But you can install SEO plugins like All In One SEO and give search engine(s) few days to crawl and index new pages of your site.

    Make a new sitemap too.

    Thank you for your suggestions :) I got all in one seo, dunno if i configured it correctly tho.. and i made a new sitemap and submitted it :) Thank you
