Switched from Verizon to new cell phone service and am a LOT happier

I recently have just changed my cell phone provider from Verizon to the new cell phone service provider: Helio.

I am a LOT happier now. Believe it or not, I have a lot better service than I ever did with 6 years of Verizon (and many different phones). Along with that, support is a LOT better, a LOT friendlier, and a LOT more productive. I also purchased the extended protection program to replace my phone if anything happens to it and everything has worked out so great!

I get 1000 minutes, unlimited internet, MySpace, instant messenging (AIM, Yahoo! IM, and Windows Live Messenger) for $75 per month. I was ALWAYS going over on Verizon and had to pay $300 per month many times! I also get free nights and weekend, unlimited Helio-to-Helio (though I'm the only one that has it right now), and to top it off, my phone is really nice.

I have the Helio Ocean, which has 250mb of internal memory, and can play mp3. It's just awesome.

I highly recommend to anyone/everyone in the US to get Helio. They're a great company with fabulous service and support. I highly recommend them.

Thanks for sharing, but I'd watch what you call it, I saw a commercial where a girl got ate by a big fish for calling it a "phone".

 

Does Helio have their own phone service, or are they piggybacking on somebody else's? AFAIK, Verizon is the only service that works well in my area, which stinks because they have terrible service and their phones are all crippled because Verizon wants to make money on everything you could possibly do with your phone.

 

Helio is in a partnership (actually its another fancy word) with some other major network providers including Earthlink.

Verizon was, or so I thought, the only and best service in my area as well, until I got Helio! I am impressed...a lot better service than my Verizon phones ever had.
