Thanks for the list. It is very helpful indeed.

 

If these directories were originally posted back in January of 2005, then that means they're approaching two years old.

Most of the directories have a PR0. If they haven't built up any PageRank in 20 months, there's obviously something wrong.

So my question is this. What makes it worthwhile to submit to these directories? How is it worth anyone's time or energy submitting to a bunch of sites that -- by all indications -- will never pass along any PR value?

Just curious.

 

Hello everybody. I am wonder that my directory is on the list. Thank you Silencer. Regarding PR, my PR is 3 on the index site. I have started to index it (directory) into search machines 2 months ago (make backlinks, submit in 600 directories, not all approved yet) so the directory has only PR from inside links (Google has rebuilt PR a hew weeks ago). I added more than 6000 categories in last weeks so in 3-4 months PR will increase (I think so ). Add your web sites for free... www.directory.pkdesign.sk

Thank you very much for taking the pain to list all these directories, i have submitted my site to all of them

 

First thing is that these are free and as mentioned think long term maybe they'll start charging.

Also I'm noticed that PLENTY of sites that charge money and have PR on the main page have NO (big fat zero) PR on the internal pages. If you're submitting to some real estate categories I'm sure you noticed the same thing.

So forget about the PR. Maybe it'll happen it'll be a bonus plus its free right now.

Hopefully the pages will get indexed soon and you can always check that if you wish. I just assume (hope) that it'll happen.

Its the SERP result that I'm trying to get with submissions into some categories. Thats why you should submit to the revelant category (ie real estate submit Texashomes.com).

Brandon no offence but look at your sig. It not just about the PR baby!!!

Dan's right, I approve very quickly (if your site meets our conditions of course). So don't be afraid to come and add your site - but please read the submission guidlines before posting.
