What do you think about SwiftAppraisal.com http://www.swiftappraisal.com/step1.php for giving free domain appraisals? Do you think they are reasonably accurate?

Is there any other free appraisal sites that are good?

Not only there are no good free appraisal sites but even the paid ones don't worth much

Appraisal is an estimation of end buyer value
The problem is that you can't find easy an end buyer
A domainer has more possibilities to find your domain but he will ask it in super wholesale price

In any case it's better to a get a free human appraisal using sites like this or namepros

Any one having any faith in automated appraisals

Just appraise a free dot tk domain like earn.tk using those tools
as per those tools like leapfish ,etc , the domain is supposed to have a mid $xxxx value
but in reality they are not worth much

Why appraisals are good for the domain industry and not your pocket
A not so far from reality scenario :

    1. You take a free appraisal or even buy a premium one

    2. They said that your domain worth $XXXX,00 and you buy your friends a beer because with 100 of similar domains you can be rich or make at last some money

    3. You wait... wait... wait to find a buyer

    4. You post the names at forums or marketplaces, nobody cares for them

    5. You receive few bids MUCH lower than the appraisal value. You are insulted "How he dares to ask for MY PRECIOUS with such a low bid ?"

    6. You hold them 1-2 years and you get bored

    7. You sell them for few dollars or just drop them

Who won from this scenario ?
    - The domain registry,registrar....
    - The person that you ordered the appraisal

    Conclusion :
Think domains like stocks. Put an average (and logical) profit margin and try to sell them
There are no super premiums anymore available for registration (for .com)
If you want to deal with high sales you need money to buy already registered names from other domainers
