Swift code problem

    hi friends i want to withdraw money from elance but it is asking swift code of bank it is frustrating becoz paypal doesnt asks this only asks ifsc so swift code entering wrong may result to payment or should only enter correct account number and wrong swift code i mean i can enter the near my bank swift code of same branch tht is sbi becoz i have searched in google i need ameerpet sbi swift code so banks really dont have swift code or they dont mention in the website................

    You should check your checkbook of your bank and you will get swift code from there otherwise even you can call your bank and ask them code

    You have to call them , in the check book it is not there. You can visit sbi website and get from there.

    If your sbi bank branch don't have a swift code you can use your sbi main branch swift code it will work perfectly without any problem.

    Look, If your sbi branch does not have the swift code, then don't worry. Just look for your nearest cities Sbi swift code, then put that swift code, You will receive your money in your account. Also remember just put your branch bank account. On Other hand you can use your regional branch swift code also. suppose your reside in abc city in bihar, then you can use Patna branch swift code to accept Payments. There is no problem with that. I have also do the same.
