i used "Sothink swf Decompiler" to decompile a swf file.
it has been extracted to these folder
    1.Action
    2.Buttom
    3.Font
    4.Frame
    5.Image
    6.misc Tags
    7.Shape
    8.Sound
    9.Sprite
    10.Text

now i can edit them and make changes but how do compile back to a new .swf file with changes ? help plz

I use a program called SWF Quicker which lets you make changes to a SWF file and then recompile with the changes made. You can get a fully functional demo except it has a watermark to see if it is useful for you
