I know what you mean, Crazy_Rob... my favorite pub just discontinued my favorite draft (imported) because the kegs kept spoiling... Hell, I did my best... I was drinking as fast as I could
I went to the Cubs game tonight and had a few Old Styles. Then went across the street and had a few more....now my head hurts.
Several meanings, some not for a family forum... But what Crazy_Rob was referring to was a type of beer, usually brewed in the bathtub or an old tin washtub, served with a soup ladle and strained through gauze to filter out the skeeters. Stronger than most modern beers, with the disadvantage that you often go blind a few hours after drinking a few ladles full...
oh good grief. no offense rob, but that is just a wrong thing to do to your body yeah - just finished feeding her and now i'm making sure she is going to go back to bed
Sorry, Wendy... I was joing about the bathtub beer... it's really just a brand, like Schlitz, Old Milwaukee, Moosehead...
Bob, Why not go deep into this? You left a long winded post earlier that WF decided to leave one of his own (I don't have a problem with long winded threads.) The bible is extremely clear, the language that comes out of your mouth should be clean. Not really much of an arguement after that. You can, if you like, choose to argue and say "well, they were speaking blah blah blah", but again, that would be for someone who feels the bible is a set of 'rules'... which it is not...
I think that view of the bible isn't universal. My inlaws for example (father in law is a minister) believes it is a set of rules to be followed, and that the bible is very clear on many topics. I choose to disagree with his view on the matter. He is also a bit of a fundamentalist. He's entitled to his view, i just disagree
