I have a client who has requested a porn site. Their yet to choose a domain name and I was wondering if there were any issues with containing swear words within a domain name? Thanks for any advice, it's appreciated.
There is no cross-registrar policy that bans profanity in a domain (.com, .net, or .org). However some registrars will not allow profane domain names.
.IN registry doesn't allow such sites to function for sure - so SmallPotatoes is right about the restriction by ccTLD's, however no such issues with gTLD's - one can safely register and run a site (as long as permissible by local law regulations)
