I really never believed in swapping links w/ people in my niche. The more I talk to other people - the more I see that ppl are swapping links with each other.

Do you guys swap links? If so - does it benifit or does G penalize you?

This form of SEO is highly depreciated now with Google. I don't bother with it. I get one-way links by posting articles, using this forum & others with my anchor text in sig, and some occasional blog commenting. I also use Brute Force Linking Loophole.

It's all about me,me,me,me! Why would I want to help anyone else when the universe obviously centers around ME!

Swapping links is about mutual relationships. Whatever Google thinks about it is not even on my radar. That's what I mean when I say how much I hate them idiots. They get people to believe in their crap and they buy into it.

    Sheep to slaughter.

therre are plenty of ways to build one way backlinks so i dont bother with link exchange. link exchange take lot more time than some other one way link building methods. sometime you will see your link exchange partner removing your link as well while you still got thier link on your site so you have to constantly monitor that which is time consuming. besides, google works hard these days to discount links that are achieved form excessive link exchanges
