    Hi

wordpress is creating this files in .svn folder inside my uploads folder. I've found out through google that this is normal, but what I'd like to know is what is it good for and if I can, how can I disable it?

    I couldn't find the answer :(

    Thanks in advance!

Clearly it is not being created by WP but by SVN. ;)

If you do not use it to upload your files, I think that you can delete it without causing any damage. SVN stores there various information about files.

Well, it is a hidden folder, so you have to display it somehow first. There should be an option for that in your FTP client/file browser.
