    guys im a total newbie in SEO, i want my website to be optimized in search engine...what to do for that....please help me.!!

    It's pretty difficult to optimize a site that's just a forum. Mostly the optimization comes from the content that is posted on there, for example DigitalPoint forum threads get some very high rankings because it has such a large authority and huge number of backlinks - yet they have very little in the way of onpage optimization.

    You will find it very hard to target your forum to the whole webmaster niche as there's already several established forums, so I would target a certain niche for the webmaster industry.

    thanx friend for info, but ill stick to my forum, koz its tough to get a forum get goin in start, but opnce it gets the pick up....its becomes handy!!

    Forums are probably one of the toughest sites to get going....you have to invest $1000's of dollars or 1000's of hours or a combination of the two. Really what you need is lots of daily activity so you build content and you need to build relevant backlinks.

    Try and get some SEO/Webmaster blogs announcing your new forums.
