Suspended from chitika ; My friend loses $160

Most of us are familiar with ways in which people get terminated from adsense and the emails that follow...

Chitika follows the same procedure, even when it claims the provision for "audited" traffic filtering...

Why honor the privacy of a company that arbitrarily cuts earnings? Reputable companies do not behave like Chitika has.

How did you lost $160, it sounds to me like they will pay you what you have earned so far, but nothing more starting now.

 

The correct title for this thread should be "my friend got kicked out of chitika for cheating. Advertisers saved $160 in fraudulent clicks".

Good to know that Chitika is also getting rid of these thieves...

I like how some people thought because they audit out fraudelent kicks that they were just going to let people who blatantly were trying to cheat the system to stay in the program.

Not sure why anyone would have arrived at that illogical conclusion, but it seems a lot of people have.

 

They say you will not be paid for any traffic going forward, to me it sounds like they will still be paid for what they earned so far?

 

I wouldn't buy any christmas presents based on that assumption.

 

I have to agree. If you are found trying to cheat the system why should they keep you or pay you? Its not fair for the advertisers to support his crime and why should they have to keep checking to make sure he hasn't found new ways to cheat that aren't detictable.

 

When adsense kicks you out, they refund the entire account, fraudulent or not, back to the advertisers (so they say). I imagine Chitika would do the same. Goodbye $160.

 

You run crap sites and do shifty marketing to gain revenue streams, you will lose at some point.

 

How do you all get to the assumption, that his friend cheated or generated fraudulent clicks? I mean, the only thing they say in the eMail is that someone complained about him. Of course I understand that it's necessary to protect the advertisers, but while doing so they could at least tell us what was done wrong or what was complained about.

 

The only problem I see with telling them what was done wrong is they then learn how to cover their tracks for the next time they attempt to cheat the system.
