Quoting from the e-mail I received: "we found that your AdSense account has posed a significant risk to our AdWords advertisers." I have filed an "appeal" and received a response simply saying we stand by our decision. Since Google refuses to respond to numerous inquiries from me, can anyone explain what would pose a risk to advertisers? There is no adult, or illegal content, everything is "g" rated. What's going on with these people? By the way, this came about two months after first signing up.
It could depend on the content of your site, but sounds like they have detected invalid clicks or traffic and just expired you to be safe.
Content is all "G" rated. It's a new web site, so traffic is still very slow, and clicks are few. Could it be that they just want high traffic sites? Here's the site so you can judge for yourself: http://www.cousinsclubweb.com
Goolge will not respond further too you. No one here can give you any clue as to why unless you provide a link to your site and then they will only be guessing.
Here's the link: http://www.cousinsclubweb.com I'm told that a real link can't be embedded since I'm still a peon.
http://www.cousinsclubweb.com a live link and maybe you had some click fraud? I don't see why adsense wouldn't allow your site
I wonder if it is because the website is geared only toward blood relatives, people who might be motivated to "give money" to the site's owner. I make a point of not telling friends and family about my websites as I think the risk is obvious.
I don't know why. One mark against you was no privacy policy, unless I missed it. I doubt they will ban you for that alone but some say they will. i think more likely they consider that in their decision to ban. It is nearly impossible to file an appeal when you don't know what you did wrong in the first place. It would be like taking someone too court, putting them on trial, executing them and never telling what they were charged with. It is an untenable position in my opinion. The class action suit is coming, not from me but someone in California will file one. I'm surprised it hasn't been done already. You can get banned for so many reasons. I know someone that filed a compliant with the Better Business Bureau and got his account reinstated. He THINKS he might have been banned because he accidentally truncated the ads. He didn't figure that out until after he got re-instated. Your only hope is to go to an outside source. Google will not help you. You're realities or friends where likely clicking on your links to help you out but we don't have any way to know.
i'm seeing ads on the site today so it looks like you arent banned (yet?) as for being a "risk to publishers" - that could be anything that Google thinks is, or MIGHT cause Adwords advertisers to be harmed (or ripped-off). might be that you have no privacy policy (a violation of the TOS), it might be that since the site is geared toward relatives they feel that too many clicks might be from "family trying to help", it could be that the server/host has a lot of MFA's on it.. it could be that they dont like that gawd-awful red font.. Basically Google is saying they dont like your site for some mysterious and unknown reason.
