Hi All,Twitter has suspended my account as of yesterday with the reasons outlined below:Hello, This account was suspended for sending multiple unsolicited messages using the @reply and/or mention feature. These features are intended to make communication between people on Twitter easier. Twitter monitors the use of these features to make sure they are used as intended and not for abuse. Using either feature to post messages to a bunch of users in an unsolicited or egregious manner is considered an abuse of its use, which results in account suspension. For more information about these features, please visit our @Replies and Mentions help page: http://support.twitter.com/articles/14023 Before reinstating your account, we request: • If you are using tools to help you automatically message users, please stop. • If you've signed up for a service aimed at sending targeted @ replies, you'll need to discontinue use and change your password, so they're no longer able to access your account. • If you were messaging large numbers of users via @ reply manually, please don't continue to do so. Could you reply to this message to confirm that you'll cease any of the above behaviors? Thanks, Twitter Trust & Safety At the moment I am trying to recruit participants via Twitter to complete an online survey which I am undertaking as part of my Masters degree. This involves posting Tweets to certain pages with the link to my survey. Can anyone tell me am I not allowed to do this with regard to the above requests from Twitter before it reinstates my account? Here is an example of one of my posts which I previously Tweeted on Twitter -'I'm conducting a study within the GAA on CPR and automated external defibrillators. The link is: www.gaacardiacarrestsurvey.com Thanks!'I know that Twitter will reinstate my account but I don't want to make the same mistake again (whatever I am doing wrong) and have my account permanently suspended. Also, it appears that Twitter will only send out automated standard e-mails to everyone that are not in plain English! So if anyone has any advice or can provide an explanation it would be much appreciated!!Thanks,Emma

They have basically told you what the problem is,if you carry on posting those message you will be banned full stop. They appear to be giving you another chance by saying if you stop doing it your account should be all right.Only you can make that decision they are seeing it as spamming and nothing else i have to admit if it was my site and i was to see alot of those type of posts i would do the same.

Its your call if it was me i would stop doing it and get my account back but as its your account only you can address the situation.
