I enjoy watching them both, but for the more genuine survivor situations I'm gonna go with survivorman because I saw some shady youtube videos on man vs. wild. So, survivorman for me.
I choose Bear because he very nice to look at.. Plus he teaches me lots of good survivor tricks, however I WILL NEVER drink my own urine or drink elephant dung juice.. Yuck.. Which also takes away some of his charm IMO.. LOL
