Hi guys, Been several years that I've left the scene and coding in general. I need a quick solution in regards to marketing (actually more existing customer service improvement) and hope that someone could help me. I have a list of email addresses from existing customers, resellers, freelance representatives, support teams etc. (We manufacture and supply electrical equipment, the list contains roughly 4000 email addresses obtained by direct communication with these parties.) I would like to send out an mail to all these people in a survey form asking them to opt-in to mailing lists that could be of interest to them. These emails after opt-in would consist of price lists, product introductions, technical literature etc. and its difficult at the moment to determine who would like to receive the different emails. Does anyone know of a system capable of doing this? Like sending out a survey and then by user choice opt in to single or multiple mailing lists? I've been doing some Googling but am lost at this point and would appreciate any guidance. Thanks in advance.
I've never used aweber or mailchimp but they are good places to start. There's a service called mobilizemail that includes a survey and list management. Or if you feel like playing with some code check out mandrill. For the little guys (<20000 emails per month) it is free and reliable.
