So I was looking at clickbank products from the eye of a consumer. As I read the sales pages I found I had questions as a potential buyer, so fired off questions using the contact form on the sales site. The results were very surprising. Only one had an auto-response message that they had gotten the Q and would reply soon. Several haven't yet replied, many days later. And this includes recently created/promoted products. Some replied slowly and very briefly, without including my original question, so I wasn't even completely sure what their answer met. None addressed me by name. None included additional information in their email to get me more hooked. This seems like bad business altogether, as more than just the one sale is involved. The type of consumer who asks questions is also the kind to post reviews, mention you to friends, etc, which is someone you want on your side.
i know by experience thoses who send me questions about my product, i answer, then they still don't buy so i don't bother anymore with proffesionalism. i just say Hello, (quote the question) (answer the question) Thanks for your inquiry. (signature)
par for the course with clickbank. I'd like to see a trend towards better accountability...and less anonymity.
Sorry to hear about such bad results. I wonder what those sellers think...they are turning potential customers down.
I have had bad luck using the contact us email on a couple of my publisher's sites. They probably don't watch them close, or they are overwhelmed with spam. Pity.
