SURPRISING results with Bing!

It took Bing a month exactly to find my new (one month old) blog while Google picked it up in a week and Yahoo about 10 or 11 days. I'm doing great so far-for a start-with 50 unique visitors a day-gotta start somewhere!

 

I also surprised to see some of my sites ranked high for some very competitive KWs, but my leading sites are almost nowhere Bing has a very strange algorithm .... useless.

 

As per me google brings more traffic . Even if the site is listed on higher position on Bing , It hardly brings traffic.

 

bing is very unpredictable. I guess thats why they are a decision engine and not a search engine

Sometimes you can rank better in bing or yahoo than in google for your keyword or keyphrase, but usually google sends more traffic. It is nice to see your site or link in the top 10 though whether it is google, yahoo, or bing it's nice to see all your hard work paying off. Keep up the good work!

 

I will rank high on the first page of bing but nowhere to be found on google. Bing is just about worthless

 

I'm prefer google than bing. Until now, I still didn't find the method that bing used.

Bing is relatively new tho isn't it? Is this possibly just teething problems?

Perhaps it's just bing testing your site in the top ranks, google does the same with most new sites. Send you to the top ten for the first month an then you suddenly fall. To me this sounds like a test run bing is doing with your site to see how people use your resource. Try an reply a month later or so with your rankings, that way we can tell whats going on.

 

Ofcourse it cannot be compared to google, but each one has its own strenght.

 

One of my site ranked similar in both Bing and Google. Bing send me much less traffics (1 : 500 may be) but Bing traffics has some of quality. We have to compare them in both of quantity and quality.

 

I agree but Google brings more traffic. maybe because its the most popular one.

Bing is just a piece of crap. all the search result is not relevant and i am totally disappointed with it.. While i do not understand why Yahoo! wants to use Bing Search Engine when Yahoo! has better search engine.
