My blog was ranking 12 in Google for one my main keywords, but suddenly its ranking was reduced, even not in top 1000.What can be the possible reason ? Two points am adding here for reference---- I've not updated by blog since last 5 months. One of my signature link removed manually from a forum. Do you believe that above these two points might be the reason ??????
I have been reading those same comments on several forums and blogs. Give it some time and some fresh content.
Google update happened short time ago, this happened to many websites because the older websites were updated. Best thing to do is keep building links, sitemaps, content and re-index everyday. Even 500 words per day and re-index will bring you up. Just make the search engines think you are the most relevant website of your niche.
This happen because of remove your backlink or changes in your webpage. after doing any link building process please avoid any changes from your page. because minor changes also affect your website by dropping website rank.
men what would you expect google do not care about your site anymore ,,,, why because you have never update your site.. so that is basically the least possible to happen
So much nonsense and drivel in here.... Do a search for site:yourdomain.com to check if your site is still in Google's index and has not been banned. If you are in the index, then your site may have been penalised or it may be down to a change in algorithm / the fact that you hadn't updated the blog in a long time. Provide the URL here so we can have a look?
Update your site with unique content and get some backlinks. After a couple of weeks'll see your page in top
As you have not updated your blog, you should always update your blog time to time and submit unique content.
Its probably just google messing about as usual. Just wait a while before you start panicking. Iv usually found that if a site drops off the radar for one keyword the traffic just comes from somewhere else!
Adding a fresh post will help, but sometimes Google just shuffles things around. Good Luck, Clare11956
I think that's just a google dance if you can't find your website in Top 1000. If it doesn't come back to its usual ranking for two weeks, then better to update it.
One of my sites completely vanished from the SERPS. I wast making much from it anyway. But than 2 months later it popped back up on the first page position 2 (same position). Just like Clare1956 "sometimes Google just shuffles things around"
