    SurfSpeedy Hosting...

Ok so I heard from someone that I should use surfspeedy hosting for my vbulletin site, so I checked out their site, it was cheap and they looked great. Now a month later, I wish I would have never though about using surfspeedy in any way possible.

Their security is horrible, and my site got hacked through another account on the server. Then then attempted to fix it and made it worse by deleting my files on accident which were not recently backed-up. Then they told me they would have everything fixed in about 3 hours. FIVE DAYS LATER... I finally got sick of their lies and contacted their manager and told him exactly what was on my mind.

His solution for the problem and the havok he reaked on my website? He banned me from their website and will not allow me to usethe support system anymore. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention... my account still is not working and goes on and off from that hack that happened about 6 days ago now.

On their homepage it clearly says that they have 100% satisfaction garantee and 100% uptime. So I figured I would give that a shot through a proxy so I could get on their site. I sent 3 tickets now through their support system in the past 2 days and still no response. I am pretty sure they are just instantly trashing them because I checked the status on them and they say CLOSED.

There has to be so many lawsuits involved in this whole mess, but I personally do not have a lawyer, so what am I to do? Im 16 years old, stuff like this shouldnt be happening to me.

So my advice to you guys... STAY AWAY FROM SURFSPEEDY!

    Good day...

Best to read as many hosting reviews as possible before signing up for a new account. Lots of reviews available online! Simply search for the company name with your favorite search engine.

If you paid with a credit card? I would contact the CC company and request a refund. The process may involve documenting your complaint. So plan to make copies of everything that might help your case. Print out the "100% satisfaction garantee" on the hompage. As well as any emails concerning your account.

I had a problem with a host that offered a similar "100% satisfaction garantee" on their hompage. Required quite a bit of time and effort but I got my money back! But not before they charged my credit card for a second time after the CC company gave me a refund.
