Surfin Directory

DUDE...squash the 200 minimum limit. I'm over here trying to think up crap to write. We have a perfectly terse description that we use for directories, and it abides by all of the general rules. 200 characters is WAY too much. I kept submitting, and I didn't know why I wasn't getting the confirmation message. Make some changes PLEASE.

 

Well the description limit will stay 200 until friday when we go back to paid where as then you are free to submit whatever size decription you wish I'm sory that some of you feel its too much but we feel 200 is a good number. Sorry As for everyone else thanks for submitting!

 

It's not that 200 is too much. That is what a lot of people shoot for. But since some sites have a LIMIT of 200, the descriptions usually fall a few characters short. If you made is 185, that would probably be fine, for example.

 

Okay guys, tell you what. Since today (Thursday) is the last day we are taking free submissions without recips, I will change the descrip min to 150 instead of 200 but please remember that after today you will no longer able to submit your site for free to surfin.com Thank you.
