Surf - Have Fun - Earn $$$ Contest

    Hi there,

    I have a special contest for you which implies that you will surf my website, make remarques and earn cash for every remarque posted!

    So the fact is that I've got a new e-commerce website with a content management system extended with lots of add-ons and some things are not totally right yet. You can earn 1$ for every 'decent' remarque/suggestion made.

    How do we do this:

    1. I want you to send me a private message and show your interest.
    2. I'll reply with the URL of my website and you can start surfing.
    You can send messages, register, place orders, ... do whatever is possible on the website BUT when filling in information always make clear you're from this forum by adding DP in front of the text, nick, ...[/I] (in order not to mix the testing with the real orders and queries)
    3. Every remarque you have should be posted at this thread so that other participants can see them
    4. If you made a decent remarque AND one that wasn't mentioned before you will have earned 1$
    5. Every decent and unique remarque is rewarded with 1$, so you can post different remarques and end up with 10 remarques = 10*1$.
    6. I'll save all remarques in a database and at the end of the contest everyone is paid by Paypal

    To give it just that extra contest feeling:

    The participant who made the best remarques (with a minimum of 10) will receive an extra 10$.

    (example: you made the best 25 high quality remarques, you'll earn 25*1$ + 10$ = 35$)

    I'm not setting a limit to the amount of remarques you can make nor I'm not setting a fixed time limit for this contest (this might change during the contest). As long as good remarques are posted we'll continue. However I do guarantee that if after a week this contest still runs, the first payments are made.

    PS Some (real) examples:

    Remarque 1:
    When using the discount option of buying together products at the Lithium AAA productpage, I end up at an errorpage.

    Remarque 2:
    Sometimes when placing an order there is a small fee calculated for (free) pick up.

    Remarque 3:
    Technical details isn't translated

    Remarque 4:
    When choosing the printable version, there isn't much left of the layout.

    Remarque 5:
    When changing language, I'm redirected to the home page instead of staying on the present page

    2. Make the text that says (Contacteer ons op: +32-(0)-485-93-41-04) lighter so it is easier to read
    3. Add more to your title tag other than just Spy3K maybe something like Spy3K - Surveillance equipment & Solution Provider
    4. Display the drop down for the language selector more prominently and maybe add a logo or a flag near it so you can see that you can switch languages.

    1. Featured products is "featured" way to low on the sight move it to the top or middle or to one of the side bars.
    2.Include prices with your Bestsellers on the left sidebar
    3. See if you can move the login to the header or atleast higher than where it is to make it more accessible or quicker to locate.
    4. Get lower resolution images for the product description pages, they take too long to load.
    5. Make the images on the description page click able thumbnails.
    6.Add all of the auto title and descriptions to the bookmarking tags like for digg, reddit, delicious.
    7.Instead of having buy now on the featured products change it to add to cart to stay consistent.

    There is still a lot to test ... without a doubt the order proces is one of the most important parts, I do not want to scare customers out of the cart system because of a stupid mistake!

    E 1. Go with tabless design in your html
    Right now your whole site is designed using tables in the code rather than divs which will take longer to load. Not a big deal but like I said, takes longer to load for the user.

    E 6.Add all of the auto title and descriptions to the bookmarking tags like for digg, reddit, delicious.

    With the digg, reddit, delicious links you can have the information be auto-filled when somebody clicks on one to make the process quicker. Takes to long to explain though!

    1. Purchase the .com version of your domain.
    2. A description of where you ship to would be nice before you fill out all of the info on the registration form. I don't want to fill it out just to find out you don't ship to me or it will cost a butt-load of money to ship to where I live.
    3. The state form-field doesn't offer states in the U.S. or other countries even though you can selesct other countries not to mention the state form field requires info in order to submit the form even though there is nothing accurate for me to select.
    4.Country should be above the state selection on the form.
    5. If the Ship to a different address is checked, then all the same fields that are required for the Billing address should be required for the shipping address.
    6. You have the option to Signup for membership, but you don't explain what membership gets you. Do you get specil offers? Do you get discounts, emails? Does it cost anything etc...

    1. I'm surprised there isn't a products link in the top navigation where you have (home, about us, faq etc...)
    2.I received the following error when clicking super trackstick under recently viewed:
    "Access denied !
    You are not allowed to access that resource!

    Error ID: 33 "

    3.Is there anyway to have a price unit conversion? Like if it costs €113,10, what does it cost in $USD or other currencies if you plan on shipping world wide.
    4. I would advertise somewhere that your checkout process is secure.
    5. I don't think I like seeing at the bottom where it says (sers online: 16 unregistered customer(s), 1 registered customer(s)). This has no real value and kind of freaks me out knowing that there are unregistered people there trying to do God knows what.
    6. Put something under your FAQ!!!!
    7. I realize you have your phone# at the top of the site, but you should also include it plus maybe your e-mail address on your contact page.
    8.Remove the heading that says Help zone. Maybe replace it with something like Services or Customer Service or something to that nature.
    9. Add a link to become a partner under the Partners page and visa versa.
    10. Describe what the benefits are for those who become partners and how to do it under the become a partner section.
    11. Is there anyway for you to easily add a customer rating section to the product description pages?

    hi there heres" my quick take on things


    first things first i'd like to say the site looks well set up tbh
    okay here"s my take
    1.Donot opt for a .com domain what you have is good enough and if you wish to target a country its good enougha nd wth the english version it works well
    2. There"s no banner like optimise the efficiency of you trailers in the english version?? why ?
    and a english banner in the dutch version ??? why not have a dutch banner

    3. In About us its good to include a pic of the the person who"s responsible for the site thats you kris if im not wrong include your picture adds a human touch to it and one feels connected at some level or the other
    4. Provide a currency converter somewhere and give information about the various payment options in bold like paypal and others before the checkout it would be futile having someone browse around the site and going all the way to checkout to know abot payment options
    5. No one likes to see terms&condition so just make a link somewhere down and replace the top header with best sellers or best buys
    6. At the new tab of the page add a logo or image that eye thing you have liek here in dp see and many other sites/boards.like

    7. the logo and the title looks cool tbh and i woldnt mind having a free tshirt with that logo perhaps you could add that offer in
    8. if u do provide free shipping to anywhere then that should be mentioned
    9. shipping costs if any should be included for i personally have made the mistake of offering free shipping at times and the cost of the thing sold was lesser than the shipping i had to pay ( but im sure you must have taken care of it)
    10. i saw you offer cupons how about adding some details about the cupons they seem a bit interesting
    11. add some reviews on the a header you could replace any header like FAQ or anything with customer reviews so that people know that they are not teh only one"s buying it.
    12. the FAQ section is empty as of now please do fill it, the same goes for patners and become a partner

    14. say somewhere that the site is safe and add a logo like many sites have like for example ebay and even the login page of many sites like rapidshare even have that makes the users a bit more reassured
    15. in recently viewed if the same item has been viewed over and over again it shows 3 times better have different items that have been viewed like at one point i had 3 views of supertarckstick one better keep it on top if its been viewed more than but other items that have been viewed should also be kept there below it
    16. i like the idea of how many people are online and tells me the board or site is active like i'd like to know when money is involved
    17. i thing i would like to know how do best sellers change?? with each section?i thought best sellers were the one"s that sold teh most
    18. customer feedback should be ina seperate section and not under buy now for not many would want to come back and leave a feedback so either make sure you have a seperate section for it who"s link can be given to the people who buy an item to go there and post a view
    19. customer support if any should be told not under help but in the form of live support
    20. get one of those toll free numbers that people who donot know how to get a device to work can call up and ask or help online so that you could guide them if needed

    23. if you have installed your products or they have been featured in some movie give a reference nothing works like free publicity
    24. please add a bit more to your homepage in terms of clickable links to other sections for easier navigation.
    25. post a few videos about how the products work and all the cameras and stuff even youtube videos who knows it just might work to get more traffic right and free and easy advertising.

    I disagree about having the .com name. When somebody thinks of a website, they automatically think of .com. Yuu don't have to use it as your main web address but just have it point to the same site or even redirect. It will cost you about $10 per year but can earn you several hundreds or thousands more a year in potentially lost revenue.
