lol...great excuses for anyone who gets caught (and those who did it honestly, shame on you! ). But I'm glad you pointed this out. Lets see how we can better address the situation at hand. To me, those who don't invest the time in finding a credible template coder are still to be blamed (They should at least ask around, shop around, rather then just taking the first or second offer that ends up being from a scam artist). And, as for number #2, its probably better to download templates as a single file rather then a package. I think those who do use free templates should follow these guidelines when choosing one. If people take these measures, those unintentional reasons of having the footer links removed will be more suspicious.
Yes, I also think the same. I had idea of creating www.badcarma.com site and put something like this on homepage of it: If you remove credits from free templates without creators permision : 1.You will never make any money with your site. 2. Your site will never get out of sandbox and will never be found on Google 3. Yahoo will hate your site. 4. ...etc After creating that site, we can say "removing footer links is bad carma" with link to it. Superstition can do wonders. Also this site would get so many links I am sure it would hit pr7 very soon. There, I gave one of my ideas for free. If you create such a site, maybe you can link to me
hehehehe i just checked it out.... 1. megri yip he definatly one 2. lemmifind say he isnt doing it again 3. no clue yes soon my network will have a new template... and the HALL of SHAME awaits those willing to piss me off thx malcolm
Hehe he, I got piss one day that those guys keeps submitting to the Top categories that I felt it needed to be brought up. But yea, feel free to add sites into there, just dont link to it so that it doesn't get traffic.
