    Hi Folks,

Why a page is put in the supplemental result by Google? How it could be recovered from the same?

    Regards,
    Tahir Ahmad

Many reasons. Of them the main are:

    1. Duplicate Content
    2. Duplicate meta tags, description, etc.
    3. Not enough internal or external links to the page.

To recover, address all of the above and you should be doing great :)

    Hello,

Take a look no repeat your menu (if you have a long menu with many links)

    1. UNIQUE Meta
Create unique titles and descriptions for each page. Go for long-tail keywords and make sure there's variety.

    2. Deep linking
    a. link pages within themselves to guide engine crawlers in indexing your pages.

    b. link build by getting outside links directed to your inner pages
(you can do that through social media marketing because most directories do not allow you to submit pages other than the index page)

    3. Create sitemap.xml (for easy crawl of pages) then submit to Google webmaster tools (and other submission sites).

    4. Upload robots.txt

    5. For broken pages but are still indexed in Google, use 301 Redirect - have them redirected to your supplemental pages.

    That'll do the trick. ;)

Thanks for the advice. But I still not sure about those last two. What should I write in robots.txt? How to use 301 Redirect (I'm a noob)?

    Thanks :D
